2024/2025 Performing Arts Season

This year, we are thrilled to bring world-class artists and performances to our intimate venue at the base of the gorgeous red rocks of Ivins, Utah. Our newest season features visiting award-winning artists, along with local talent. An eclectic mix of new theater, dance, music, and lectures will be available right at your doorstep, whether you are a Washington County resident, or visiting this incredible area for the first time.

ART IN KAYENTA

Every October, thousands of art enthusiasts and families make their way to the Kayenta Art Village for our annual three-day FREE art festival in Ivins, Utah. Not only do festival goers enjoy spectacular art, they are also treated to stunning desert vistas, culinary delights from festival vendors, a beer and wine garden, live music, and Kayenta’s own delicious Xetava Café and The Rusted Cactus.

Utopian Hotline

Step into the cosmic conversation with Theater Mitu’s latest creation inspired by the 1977 NASA Voyager mission, which launched a vinyl recording of natural sounds found on Earth into space, as well as the uncertainty and isolations in our world today, this experimental performance begs the question: if we were to send another message into the  distant future, what message would we send?

Southwestern Utah is a desert today, but throughout prehistory, it's been many different environments: under the ocean, a "sea" of sand dunes, a forested river floodplain, a freshwater lake, and more.

For more than 2,000 years the Ancestral Puebloan people lived and thrived in the northern part of the Southwestern U.S. Learn about how they and their predecessors survived and adapted to changing environmental conditions. And how the Ancestral Puebloan succeeded as farmers and village dwellers in an arid desert until AD 1300. Find out where they went after AD 1250 and why they abandoned this area completely.
