Originally from Grantsville, UT, Rook earned their B.S. in Theatre at Utah Tech University in 2024, where they nurtured a love for directing and playwriting. Directing credits include: This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing; John Proctor is the Villain; Secondhand Stevie; and Leaving Eden.
From a young age, Rook has explored paths as a musician, performer, and writer. Rook is a published poet, a director, and a composer, who tries to access the arts in every aspect of their life. They have loved being involved in the local art scene of Southern Utah and are excited to continue with their work at Kayenta.
In their free time, Rook likes to do standup comedy, play Dungeons and Dragons, and write.
