Directed by Andrielle Davidson, the Casecracker is St George Dance Company’s silly sequel to the classical story ballet, the Nutcracker. Told through contemporary dance, the beloved characters of the Land of Sweets are united for the wedding of Clara and the Prince. Everyone, well almost everyone, in the Land of the Sweets is overjoyed and YOU are invited as an honorary guest to the wedding! But not everyone is happy about the situation. Drama, intrigue and of course murder threaten to ruin the festivities…Help the Nutcracker Prince, Clara, Sugarplum Fairy and all the classic Sweets crack the case and save the wedding! Guess who-dunnit and their motive and you’ll win a prize!
