DESCRIPTION:VISUAL ART\n \nOpening Reception: Impressions on Paper\n \nFriday\, April 5\, 2024 // 5:30pm-7:30pm\n \nThe Center for the Arts Lobby\n \nThe Desert Spirit Art Committee organizes three juried visual art exhibitions each season at the Center for the Arts at Kayenta. The Committee invites established and emerging regional artists to submit their original artwork that responds to the exhibition’s theme. \n \nThe exhibitions are free and open to the public during the Center’s business hours as well as during performances and special events. \n \nImpressions on Paper is open to printmaking only. \n \nABOUT THE THEME:  \n \nWelcome to our first Kayenta Printmaking exhibit! This will be a showcase of the many types of printmaking\, including woodcuts\, linocuts\, screenprints\, monoprints\, intaglio\, collagraphy\, etc. So get out your brayer and spread some ink! \n \nSUBMISSION DATE: March 27\, 2024 \n \nTo learn more about submitting artwork\, click HERE. \n \nEXHIBITION RUNS: April 5-May 15\, 2024\n \nWE BELIEVE THAT ART\, IN ALL FORMS\, ENHANCES OUR LIVES AND DEMANDS DISPLAY.
