FESTIVALS
Kayenta Arts Foundation produces four dynamic public arts festivals each year: Art in Kayenta, February Art Festival, Kayenta’s Street Painting Festival, and Festival of the Americas. All four festivals are free and open to the public, and are fun for families with all ages.

February Art Festival
Saturday-Sunday, February 14 & 15 | 10:00am-5:00pm
Stroll through a gathering of eclectic artists who specialize in media ranging from sculpture to painting, jewelry to ceramics, wood to metal and more. And then unwind to live music, and culinary delights from festival vendors and Kayenta’s own Xetava Gardens Café, all amidst stunning desert vistas.

Kayenta’s Street Painting Festival
Saturday & Sunday, April 11-12, 2026 | 10:00am-5:00pm
Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of chalk art at the 15th annual Kayenta Street Painting Festival presented by Kayenta Arts Foundation. This year’s theme is “Under One Desert Sky” inspired by the natural beauty of our local desert, and the community we feel around it.

Kayenta Native Arts Market
Friday, May 1, 2026 | 4:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday-Sunday, May 2-3, 2026 | 10:00am-5:00pm
