Honoring 50 years. Imagining the next 50.
Last season, we looked back at the remarkable first 50 years of Kayenta, exploring the people, ideas, landscape, and vision that shaped the community we know today. Now, it is time to look forward.
Kayenta 100: Community Vision is a free community gathering, informational presentation, and conversation inviting Kayenta residents, neighbors, and friends to help imagine and preserve the vision for the next 50 years.
Together, we will consider what opportunities we see for the arts, shared spaces, the environment, and the connections that make this community distinctive.
This gathering is both an informational lecture and a conversation. We will reflect on what we value most about Kayenta today, share ideas for its future, and begin building a collective vision for the community we hope to pass on to future generations.
