From a young age, the performing arts called to Sydney, and she grew up with every spare second filled with all kinds of dance, music, and theatre. Sydney honed her craft at performing arts focused middle and high schools. She then graduated from Utah Tech University with a BA in Theatre. While attending, she found her love for Stage Management, and have since gained many SM credits from university to professional, highlights including The Wolves, The Last Five Years, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Lamb of God, and most recently, What the Constitution Means to Me. She has loved translating her SM skills to producing new projects and organizing festivals here at the Center for the Arts at Kayenta.
Sydney has called Southern Utah home for most of her life. While in high school, she met the love of her life, Austin, while performing together, and they are now happily married. They both work professionally in technical theatre and thank God for their career in the arts. When not in the theater, Sydney can be found reading, playing cozy video games, or adventuring in the beautiful Southern Utah landscape.
